History of WPCG

WPCG was founded on the principal for the need of desirable guard services, due to the fact Law Enforcement is overwhelmed. The founders saw the gaps in business and residential security and the need to fill that gap was obvious. WPCG started with former, active and retired Law Enforcement and military veterans. Since 2018 WPCG has deployed to numerous natural disasters, mass shootings and critical incidences. WPCG has expanded our deployment roster to approximately 225 active, retired and former LEO’s along with armed and unarmed guards. The future looks bright for our company with room to expand our services. WPCG has two State of Tennessee Certified Trainers for unarmed and armed guards with the ability to train Law Enforcement. Both of our trainers held the title of master instructor for TN Peace Officers Standards and Training.

Co-Owner/Trainer/OPS

Bud Cooper

Bud Cooper was a NCO in the US Navy serving for six years. His duties included duty engineer and
overseas shore patrol details. Bud served as base police while stationed in Orlando, FL and in Norfolk,
VA.

As a retired Police Sergeant with 31 years of civilian Law Enforcement where he served in Patrol
and Detective duties. He was a Departmental assigned training officer for 22 years and was a member of
the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Officers Association for 22 years as well. He was also a Tennessee
P.O.S.T. certified Master Instructor.

Bud Carries Firearms Instructor certifications from the N.R.A., FBI, Secret Service and Team One. He also
carries instructor status for chemical weapons, impact weapons and Taser. He also carries State of
Tennessee Certified trainer for armed and unarmed guard.

Bud has been a field supervisor for WPCG during response for natural disasters since 2018 and is now a
co-owner of the company and serves as a trainer and operations manager

Curtis Sikes

Curtis Sikes is a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving forward deployed overseas for duties assigned in aircraft maintenance and security. Curt has extensive knowledge about aircraft and airport operation security; he has been in aviation maintenance as a supervisor for 25+ years.

Curt has been involved in DOD and Homeland Security procedures for aircraft and personnel security. Curt has been employed by WPCG for 3 years as a field supervisor during natural disaster deployments. Curtis is now a co-owner WPCG where he handles the day to day operations of administration for the company.
